Ability to model safe, responsible, legal and ethical use of technology and implement school and district acceptable use policies including fair-use and copyright guidelines and Internet user protection policies.


The Digital Citizenship Project was one of the most influential projects I completed. Before taking this course I was unaware of the term "digital citizenship." One critical component of my project focused on the digital divide based on an individual's socioeconomic status. Due to this factor it is imperative that we as educators lessen the divide and provide equal opportunities for all. This is vital, more and more research indicates that technology does in fact help to decrease the achievement gap.
